Lyon is known the world over for its expertise in silk-making, for its creativity and for its high-quality workmanship.
The silks that we print or hand-paint are used for making headscarves, shawls, stoles and ties.
They are designed, produced and fully finished in the Lyon region by talented craftspeople with a long-standing expertise that carries on the tradition and high quality that remain the hallmark of excellence of products Made in France.
We stand by the label “Made in France” because it goes so far beyond mere technical and creative qualities. It also means a “different way” of seeing things (a different way of viewing the world), combining authenticity, exclusivity, originality and elegance.
Confronted with the current globalisation of the markets, where it has become easy to manufacture products at low cost on the other side of the planet, we have opted for the opposite, hyper-local approach, for a number of reasons:
- We benefit from an exceptional regional network of trusted partners involved in the various stages of making our products, steeped in history (weaving, peening, silk boiling, printing, stoving, dressing, manufacture etc).
- We keep full control over the entire production process, maintaining quality standards within the appropriate cultural environment.
- We remain fully responsive to our customers’ needs with our ability to take decisions across the manufacturing process and thereby, boost our creativity.
