From the artwork of the African Art “Korhogo” textiles are a traditional art form of the Senufu people from the town of Korhogo, and particularly the village of Fakhana, in the north of the Ivory Coast. Made of small strips of hand woven cotton sewn together, this traditional cloth is then hand painted, telling a story using geometric designs, symbols, figures and motifs representing various aspects of the Senufo world.
